In Birmingham, Alabama, the flipping team of Cody and Paul buy a house from the city land bank, which sells empty and abandoned houses to people willing to turn them into affordable homes. Called the Shake House, it appears to be an easy flip that quickly gets turned upside down by a broken water main, failing equipment, and cost overruns. Shaken as well as stirred, the flippers race against the clock to meet a very aggressive open house deadline for Matt and the Sales Team. If they miss this window, they’ll have to pull the Shake from the market for 30 days, which will devastate their shrinking profit margin.
