Spillin' the Tea Cocktail Recipe

  • 3 oz blooming jasmine tea
  • 1 oz Hendricks gin
  • 2 dashes Grapefruit bitter
  • Splash soda water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 Tbsp Lavender juniper berry simple syrup


  1. Bring 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon juniper berries and 6 lavender buds to a simmer
  2. Gently stir until sugar is dissolved
  3. Let simmer for 5 minutes
  4. Turn off heat and let cool
  5. Remove lavender and juniper berries
  6. Place one blooming flower tea ball in a clear, medium to large sized glass teapot or tempered glass pitcher
  7. Bring the water to a full boil
  8. Pour water into teapot
  9. Let jasmine bloom undisturbed for 5 to 6 minutes
  10. Let the tea cool in the teapot
  11. In a small pitcher, add all ingredients with ice and stir
  12. Strain into a coupe glass
  13. Serve with a lemon twist
  14. To make Non Alcoholic eliminate the gin
